Victoria Swarovski married her long-term boyfriend Werner Mürz over the weekend. The lavish ceremony took place in Trieste, Italy, and — as to be expected when you're the heiress to a crystal empire — the bride sparkled from head to toe.
The 23-year-old singer chose a custom-made wedding gown by Dubai-based designer Michael Cinco and of course, the princess-style design was encrusted with Swarovski crystals. The dress featured a sheer bodice and tulle skirt adorned with pailletes and laser-cut flowers. According to Cinco, the fairytale-inspired look was complete with a nearly 20-foot-long train.
Victoria and Werner, a property investor, are said to have got engaged last May after seven years of dating. And with a wedding dress with a rumored $900,000 price tag, there was no expense spared at this couple's glamorous wedding.
Their nuptials were a three-day event, with a 'pasta and love' welcome dinner for guests the night before the wedding, held at the five-star Hotel Falisia in Portopiccolo, followed by a 'farewell brunch' the next day, The Daily Mail reports.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds celebrated with family and friends at the reception, where guests were reportedly treated to a five-tier wedding cake and a fireworks display. And before the bride could hit the dance floor, she changed into another jewel-embellished dress, also designed for her by Cinco.
Following the celebrations, Victoria posted a photo from her honeymoon in Saint Tropez. "Happiest girl ever," she wrote.
