Around this time of year, most people have long forgotten about their new years resolutions, but not this husband-and-wife team. In fact, they've stuck to the same one for 18 months now—and they've made incredible progress.

On January 1, 2016, Lexi and Danny Reed decided it was time to start their weight loss journey, according to Pop Sugar. They began working out, watching what they ate, and most importantly, supporting each other every step of the way. Since then, the married couple has lost 362 pounds together and counting!

Their plan was straightforward and shortcut-free. "We started counting calories, setting goals, and working out five times a week. No surgery, nutritionist, personal trainer, pills, shakes, or meal plan," Danny wrote on Instagram. "We were ready for a change and to live a healthier life."

Lexi has also documented her health and fitness progress on social media. When she began, she weighed 485 pounds, and she had one simple goal: exercise for at least 30 minutes on the elliptical, five times a week. Now she's learned how to count calories, cook homemade meals, and care for her body. "Throwback to the girl who decided to fight for her life, if only she knew how much could change in less than a year," Lexi wrote on Instagram. "Love who I've been, and love even more who I'm becoming. We all start somewhere, start today!"

Danny and Lexi continue to share their exciting new lifestyle on social media and hope they can motivate others to make healthy choices. "I hope others will see our progress and also make a change," Danny added. "We did it and so can you!"
